Briana Thomas
Briana Thomas is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist who is also credentialed as a Substance Abuse Counselor- IT and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Briana has several years of experience working in community mental health as well as substance abuse treatment facilities.
Briana entered the field in South Florida as a child advocate working closely with families who experienced trauma, abuse, neglect and substance use issues. Briana earned her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University and has since assisted many clients in overcoming some of their life’s challenges.
Briana is professionally trained and skilled in providing systemic therapeutic approaches to treat a variety of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, borderline personality disorder and AODA issues. Briana is passionate about empowering others to break down barriers and achieve success in their own way. Briana firmly believes that each individual, family and couple has personal strengths and resources that will aid in their ability to create the life they desire.
